E O 6º B PARTICIPA NO "ANO EUROPEU DO DIÁLOGO INTERCULTURAL"!

Thank you for repyling. We hope you will find a teacher interested in this project.
My colleagues and I are convinced that the dialogue is an effective way to connect cultures,religions, nationalities and languages within and outside Europe.
In regard to the EUROPEAN YEAR OF INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE and in collaboration with the EC Delegationin Croatia, the Croatian National Television is starting a new competition in the TV show for youth, Veliki odmor. Our task was to choose a topic, do the research, analyse the data and make a presentation/poster. We also have to find a "sister" school and establish with it the intercultural dialogue on a particular subject. Connect students into a group of 3 to 5 members, appoint a mentor, and mark the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue and join us. You'll have to do your own research and then exchange the information with us, and in the end come up with a joined project, demonstrating cultural diversities and similarities. Our subject is Easter traditions of our small town Stubica. Our school is trying hard to note and save the ethnic customs of Hrvatsko zagorje (that is a small region north of Zagreb). Especially, since those old traditions are disappearing in our modern society. Therefore our students talked with their parents and grandparents how they celebrated Christ's resurrection fifty, sixty years ago. They did the research on the traditions of the Holy Week.[...]

Basicamente, o que nos foi proposto foi participarmos num projecto que está a ser desenvolvido por alunos de uma escola em Stubica (pequena cidade da Croácia) e que trata de recolherem informação sobre as tradições dos festejos da Páscoa há 50, 60 anos atrás, junto dos seus avós. Os alunos vão apresentar o seu trabalho num concurso promovido pela televisão croata e vão apresentar as semelhanças e as diferenças entre as tradições portuguesas e as croatas!! Não é giro? Os alunos do 6º B receberam um CD com o trabalho deles e estão a recolher informação para fazerem o seu Power Point e enviarem para Stubica!!
